carol anthony was born in 1943 in new york city. she is an illustrator who was educated st. stephens college, missouri and graduated from the rhode island school of design in 1966 with a bachelor of fine arts degree. in the past she collaborated with her identical twin sister, elaine, who was also an artist. the loss of her sister played an influential role on her imagery in her ongoing work. she is represented in the permanent collections of the smithsonian institution, the carnegie institute and the hirshorn museum of sculpture garden among many others. her “saying” is “a place of inner stillness”.
