we are delighted to share the spring issue of charlotte home + garden magazine featuring rebecca's amazing home in chantilly. early last year rebecca decided her home needed a little tweaking. working in the arts for a long time on top of owning her own gallery for 15 years results in a lot of art with limited space to display. she wanted the decor to highlight the artwork she adored and the two to compliment one another.Read More
the scout guide charlotte volume 2 is coming out next month and we wanted to give you a sneak peak at hidell brooks gallery's page. the photo shoot was a bit of a logistical nightmare because we were in the middle of construction on our expanded gallery. we decided along with hobby sherman the editor of scout charlotte and photographer chris edwards to have some fun with the raw space. keep an eye out for the new volume in local stores in april!

hidell brooks gallery is thrilled to be showing the incredible cast glass sculptures by the ultra talented rick beck. rick does not need much introduction for he is well known in the glass world having been teaching at the penland school of craft since 1988. he received a mfa from southern illinois university. in 1994, rick was awarded a visual arts fellowship by the north carolina arts council, followed by a national endowment for the arts regional visual arts fellowship from the southern arts federation in 1995.Read More
