a review of eric aho's most recent solo exhibition in new york city is in the january issue of artforum magazine.  the review is written by donald kuspit an american art critic, poet, and distinguished professor of art history and philosophy at the state university of new york at stony brook and professor of art history at the school of visual arts. 

it is not to late to get tickets for art for heart 2014!  the art auction benefits safe alliance and is their main fundraiser for the year.  the event is held at founder's hall in uptown charlotte on february 1st.

wonderful install this week of a pair of windy o'connor paintings in a client's family room.  the paintings anchored the whole room beautifully.  windy o'connor makes abstract painting look effortless.

arless day just recently finished another commission of a client's wonderful backyard garden.  he did a fabulous job interpreting all the unique characteristics found throughout their garden retreat. 

new paintings by sally king benedict arriving this week!  they are stunning.  along with her abstract paintings we will be getting two of her classic faces on canvas. 

in the winter 2013 issue of new orleans home & lifestyles magazine there is a wonderful artist profile on gallery artist amanda talley.  she has been working out of a lower garden district building in nola for the past 13 years that serves as her home, gallery and studio. 

wildflower by ruth ava lyons has been selected by asc popart program to be digitally reproduced on billboards across the charlotte metro area throughout 2014.  ruth has digitally altered the image to include the letters ccd to call attention to the plight of colony collapse disorder.

currently hanging at the central peidmont community college is a fabulous solo exhibition of paintings by windy o'connor entitled a walk through paris.  the show is hanging at the harris campus of ccpc through january 10th.
