we cannot believe the new year is upon us already. our exhibition schedule is our calendar and we mark the passing of time with whose show was up and when. we are thrilled to share with you our 2020 exhibition schedule.

we are gearing up for the first opening of 2020 for brian coleman and chris terry. both painters have been working arduously in their studios for the past year in preparation for their solo exhibitions.

we were elated to see hometown artist ruth ava lyons walk into the gallery for our november opening. fresh off the boat from the arctic circle where she was part of a expeditionary residency program traveling through the svalbard archipelago islands.

the last opening of the year is upon us and we are thrilled to be exhibiting three strong female painters jenny nelson, laura sanders and mary nelson sinclair.

hidell brooks is incredibly excited to open storyboard new paintings + works on paper by atlanta artist sally king benedict. the opening reception is friday, october 4th from 6-8 pm and sally will be at the opening.

hidell brooks is kicking off the fall art season with two solo exhibitions for southern artists susan mcalister and kate long stevenson. both artist’s shows includes works on canvas and paper.

so excited to see the new catalogue of christie’s international real estate with a painting by gallery artist herb jackson on the cover! inside amongst the amazing properties is a wonderful article on the gallery.

we have enjoyed seeing so many of our collector’s homes featured in the press this summer!

we are super excited for the opening night of the much anticipated exhibition (3 years in the making) of intro 7 tonight! for over 20 years hidell brooks has continued with our original goal of exhibiting works of art by american artists who have rarely been shown in north carolina.
