hidell brooks gallery had a fabulous time in winston salem a couple of weeks ago when we had our first ever pop-up gallery. we called it the hidell brooks neill gallery for the week. the pop-up was held at the gorgeous home of scottie neill. somehow her home ate up over 150 works of art we brought up to winston for the three day event. we had a wonderful cocktail party the first night with delicious food provided by 1703 restaurant. beautiful music was played on the piano and together with the art it was quite a treat.

everyone in winston salem was so sweet to us and it was a pleasure to meet so many new faces. we loved meeting the very talented liz morten of dovecote decor who was kind enough to give the pop-up a shout out on her blog. hidell brooks did quite a few installations while we were in town and wanted to share a few with you. our favorite part of our job is seeing a painting installed when it finds the perfect home.

hidell brooks gallery wants to give scottie and her whole family a big thank you for making us feel so comfortable and welcomed during our stay in winston salem. also a big thank you for everyone that came out to the pop-up and embraced us and our artists. we are looking forward to coming back next year!
