we are delighted to share the spring issue of charlotte home + garden magazine featuring rebecca's amazing home in chantilly. early last year rebecca decided her home needed a little tweaking. working in the arts for a long time on top of owning her own gallery for 15 years results in a lot of art with limited space to display. she wanted the decor to highlight the artwork she adored and the two to compliment one another.
over the years we have always been baffled when approached by clients who have just completed their home decor and show up at the gallery needing art to fill the walls almost as an after thought. it is not an easy task. sometimes we get lucky and we have the perfect painting that fits the space, the decor and the clients like it as well but that is on a good day.
a peek inside rebecca's home shows you what happens after years of collecting paintings, sculpture, and objects that speak to you and draw you in for whatever reason and then you decorate around them. it is not only a harmonious living space but the home owner's personality surrounds you. in rebecca's case her warmth, compassion and happiness are on full display. beth keim of lucy & co helped rebecca bring her vision to life. thank you to aleigh and jane with charlotte home & garden magazine for making this possible. we will share more photos next week in a follow up blog.
