hidell brooks gallery is headed to winston salem today for the opening of our pop up gallery. this is our second year for the pop up in winston and we have been working hard delivering and installing all the art. scottie neill has opened up her beautiful home again and the art looks amazing. she and her family are the most gracious hosts and we very much appreciate all they do for the pop up!

hidell brooks and scottie have curated a wonderful group of artists to be represented at the pop up. a few with winston salem ties including page laughlin who teaches at wake forest university and is the current head of the art department. also charles walker is from winston and attended wake forest. kate long stevenson, an emerging artist, who is doing incredible work in her studio is from nearby greensboro.

the pop up gallery opens tonight and runs through thursday. joy widener is our wonderful gallery sitter who will be holding down the fort in charlotte. if you are in the winston salem area and would like to stop by the pop up please call the gallery for details.
