there is nothing like a fresh coat of paint to start the new year off! it is sort of odd how pretty the gallery is empty. as soon as the paint was barely dry ruth ava lyons show arrived from boone. her new paintings are coming straight from her solo exhibition at turchin center for visuals arts. seattle artist bill braun will be in the middle gallery and new orleans artist amanda talley up front. the three solo exhibitions will start the new year off with a bang of color and form on friday january 8th from 6-8 pm. still working on ruth ava to do an impromptu performance of her hooping skills at the opening with fire!
