part one...inside look into our homes

March 9, 2019 Hidell Brooks

david kroll painting over mantle + charles gatewood to the right

over the years a constant question we are asked repeatedly is about our own personal collections. our passion for art runs deep and started early. neither one of us had any urge to be an artist. we were drawn to the arts and the act of creating art. we both took art classes in high school and college to understand the process of making art. our collections started in our 20’s and we have always bought what we loved something we tell all our collectors. art stands the test of time and for us it helps tell the story of our lives. it also makes our homes unique. the art in our homes makes it a personal experience once you step inside. collectors and friends are always so excited to see our homes so here is part one of an ongoing series of inside looks.
