a collage by arless day has been placed in the president's office at university of new orleans.  the collage family dreams  is in the permanent collection of the ogden museum and was hand picked to be displayed in the president's office.

we wanted to share with you a video on scott duce's fabulous in public series paintings.  measuring in at 12 x 12 inches each they make an incredible impact alone or in a group. 

society magazine graciously covered the merriment party held at katharine's home in may.  the party wrapped up the 2013 mint museum room to bloom series.  hidell brooks gallery proudly supports the mint museum in any way possible.

katherine ace just finished up two gorgeous paintings for a client.  the client had two walls on either side of a hallway that needed a specific size with one wall being seen from the kitchen.  they had fallen in love with katherine's paintings at the gallery but we did not have the right size.

for all of you fans out there of the emmy winning showtime series homeland hidell brooks gallery has exciting news for you.  four of ruth ava lyon's beautiful paintings will be featured in season 3 airing this fall.

hidell brooks gallery was thrilled to see kate long stevenson's amazing painting monday  featured in charleston magazine.  the painting is stunning in person so swing by the gallery to see it on a hot summer day.  happy summer!

hidell brooks was happy to help out the mint museum by hosting one of the room to bloom soirees at katharine's home.  the 30% chance of rain was a bit nerve-racking for the 300+ guest but after erecting numerous tents the weather was perfect.

hidell brooks is very excited to share with you that gallery artist brad aldridge has won the purchase prize in the art renewal center 2012/2013 international salon competition for landscape painting. 

one of the favorite parts of our job is when we receive new work from our artists.  hidell brooks just unpacked a crate of gorgeous paintings by miranda lake.  miranda lives and works in new orleans and is a  proud graduate of unc-chapel hill.
