the importance of art

September 24, 2015 Hidell Brooks

hidell brooks loves the recent video shot by local real estate agent vicky mitchener owner of dickens mitchener on the importance of artwork in a home. we had the privilege of helping vicky with her art collection when she moved into a new home long ago.  nothing is more rewarding than helping collectors find the perfect painting they love that makes their home feel like home. hidell brooks deeply believes in living with art enhances your life by being surrounded by creativity.  we have both always walked the line of helping collectors build an art collection while making sure their collection fits well into their home. in the end we have come to terms with the fact that art, architecture and design go hand in hand. all three have to work together and when they do it is magical.

dickens mitchener was founded back in1991 and are especially known for their personal touch including helping home buyers get acquaited with charlotte a city we all love. they are the total package when you are looking to find a new home.  time and time again we hear the same thing from people who find their way through our doors.  they just purchased a new home and fell in love with it because of the our artwork on the walls.  makes us smile every time!
