hidell brooks gallery installed a fabulous painting by miranda lake at the point on lake norman.  the home was decorated by the amazing beth keim of lucy & co.​  lots of bold color and pattern on pattern.  the painting was from miranda's last exhibition at the gallery.

our friends at circa interiors have just released their first book the welcoming house.  cindy smith and jane schwab are both owners of circa and have been working together for over 25 years.  their interiors are elegantly beautiful.  they are welcoming to anyone who gets the honor to be a guest in a home designed by either of them.

hidell brooks gallery installed a beautiful watercolor by selana beaudry in an incredible living room designed by sheryl vandermolen.​  with spring blooming all around us clients are out and about looking to add to their art collections.

hidell brooks gallery was thrilled to help a client find a painting for a large wall in their newly renovated family room.  the room is anchored by a large sectional sofa from lee industries with two bookshelves on either side.

​the 15th year anniversary opening went fabulous and we had an incredible turn out.  thank you to everyone who came out to support us and to help us celebrate our 15 years in the arts.  we had quite a few of our artists who were able to join us including ruth ava lyons, tony hernandez, selena beaudry, and rick beck.

hidell brooks is delighted to participate in the art of collecting series at the mint this spring.  we will be on hand next week at the uptown mint museum to speak about all the in & outs of an art gallery and how we can help make collecting art an enjoyable experience.​

we are delighted to share the spring issue of charlotte home + garden magazine featuring rebecca's amazing home in chantilly.  early last year rebecca decided her home needed a little tweaking.  working in the arts for a long time on top of owning her own gallery for 15 years results in a lot of art with limited space to display.  she wanted the decor to highlight the artwork she adored and the two to compliment one another.

an awesome new local magazine has launched this month in charlotte.  ciara bird is the force behind four magazine.  the first volume has been circling around the city for a few weeks now and is stirring up a lot of buzz.

hidell brooks gallery is thrilled to finally be showing the amazing paintings by sally king benedict.  we started following sally's career a few years ago and are ecstatic to include her work in our 15th year anniversary exhibition opening this week.

the scout guide charlotte volume 2 is coming out next month and we wanted to give you a sneak peak at hidell brooks gallery's page. the photo shoot was a bit of a logistical nightmare because we were in the middle of construction on our expanded gallery. we decided along with hobby sherman the editor of scout charlotte and photographer chris edwards to have some fun with the raw space. keep an eye out for the new volume in local stores in april!
