hidell brooks is thrilled to be representing the work of north carolina artist mary rountree moore. mary rountree moore graduated from the university of chapel hill and went on to study art at the national academy school of fine arts in nyc.

hidell brooks is so thrilled to be first timers at high point market this week. we both love our state and the fact that north carolina is the furniture capitol of the world! 

we love having a front row seat to watch all the creativity of our artists.  there is one common theme all artists share the need to create.  gallery artist sally king benedict is the perfect example.

a big congratulations to gallery artist ruth ava lyons who is currently exhibiting her work at the taiwan embassy in nyc in the creative climate awards invitational sponsored by human impacts institute (hii). 

hidell brooks has lots of wonderful images to share from the past week at the gallery even though the weather has been so dreary down south.

hidell brooks is so excited to have paintings by john folsom back in the gallery.  we showed his mixed media paintings over a decade ago and recently renewed our crush on his work after viewing the billboard atlantic series from a few years ago. 

hidell brooks cannot believe it is already the middle of september.  we have been very fortunate to receive new works by a lot of our wonderful artists recently. 

we are so thrilled to see quite a few projects hidell brooks has worked on over the past year featured in recent issues of traditional home magazine.

hidell brooks is ready for the fall art season to kick off this friday night with solo exhibitions for north carolina artists arless day and susan mcalister.  both artists will be in attendance opening night from 6- 8 pm and will give a joint artist's talk on their work at 7 pm sharp.
